Persuasive, Powerful Video = Powerful Communications Tool

Persuasive, powerful video will help you make your point in a big way.  Getting your audience to believe your claims about your product takes proof.  Some of the best examples come from TV news promos.

You’re probably skeptical about claims — whether on TV or from speakers at your events.  So when you’re trying to persuade, offer proof.

As you look at these TV news examples along with my comments, notice how the station used video to convince you to watch the upcoming story.

Persuasive, Powerful Video:  Takeaways

Use video sparingly in your presentations.

The focus should still be on you and the points you’re making.

But use a few important video elements to help make your point.

Keep the video clips short, much like you see on TV.

Make your points to underscore your overall theme, ideally your brand.

Ensure your competitive advantage is clear.

Selling “sameness” doesn’t work.
